Longboarding Through Tokyo - A Truly Unique Viewpoint

“Cruising through Tokyo Part 1,” is the title of this truly wonderful excursion through the streets of Japan via longboard. Even though this is only part 1, we are optimistic and hopeful that the creator of this video will keep up with the video series and show us some of the other great places Japan has to offer via street level.

The video starts off with a montage of some of the busier spots in the Tokyo metro system and proceeds up to street level where the longboarders take to the streets of Japan in the famous Shibuya district. They proceed to take advantage of some of the various small side streets in Shibuya, using the vast Tokyo landscape as their own personal playground. Near the end of the video the director takes the opportunity to set aside some of the longboarding and focus on the infamous Ganguro girls(Shibuya girls) that litter the streets of Shibuya. Whether or not you have been to Shibuya or Tokyo, you will still appreciate this video as it provides an amazingly distinct view of one of Tokyo’s most popular hot spots.
