As of next week, Japanese airports will have a whole new look ! Airport authorities will begin to use Toyota’s all new personal mobility device, the I-Real. The I-Real possesses controls on the arms of the vehicle in place of a conventional steering wheel, at slower speeds the I-Real sits on a three wheel base giving it the mobility and balance to accurately move through the hordes of travelers at the airport. Howeve, at high speeds, the the Toyota I-Real extends its wheelbase to give it a lower center of gravity as it speeds up to reach its top speed of 18.6 miles per hour.

Whether or not this device does anything to increase the competence of airport officials remains to be seen, however one thing remains certain, at least they will look cooler :)
